What to 3D print for Christmas

The Christmas countdown is well underway, and with only days until the big day, there are presents to be bought and invitations to be sent. With the silly season approaching, the last thing anyone wants to do is hurtle around horribly crowded stores in search of shiny objects to decorate their tree with.

Here at Standard Print Co, we’ve done the legwork work for you and put together a collection of the web’s best 3D printed decorations for your tree. With something for everyone, what better way to fulfill your familial obligations than by 3D printing your problems away? You can thank us later.

The Traditionalist

Surrounded by cousins you only see once a year, creepy uncles and new partners, the last thing your ultra-religious grandmother wants to see dangling from the Christmas tree is a joke bauble that offends her sensibilities and confirms her suspicions that you are in fact the embodiment of the Antichrist. To keep her and the rest of the family happy, here are some traditional ornaments to keep the peace.

The Minimalist

Need your ornaments be understated and not take attention away from your polished concrete floors and Scandi furniture? Not one for small winged cherubs, crucifixes or the likeness of Jesus staring down on you as you indulge in your next act of Christmas gluttony?  We’ve got you covered.

THE FANBOY

With episode 8 of everyone’s big screen space epic dropping around Christmas, what better time to keep the force woke and remember that last Jedi by adorning your tree with the best the galaxy (and the web) has to offer.

The Family Man

Like it or not, in the end, Christmas is about family -  darling children included. What better way to keep them entertained, (leaving you free to enjoy that next serving of pudding and glass of wine in relative tranquility) by keeping them busy. Try these 3D printed flat pack puzzles. For extra peace and quiet, simply remove a piece from the puzzle and keep them entertained (and confused) for a few more precious minutes. Best part is, when they are done, they can add it to the tree.
